WILLEMSTAD- February 22, 2024 – Recently, the 65th edition of Vakantiesalon Brussel took place in the Brussels Exhibition Centre, also known as Brussels Expo. This is the largest national tourism fair in Belgium, with over 248 exhibitionists, attracting more than 70 thousand visitors. This year, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) joined Corendon’s booth to offer information about Curaçao. Corendon had the largest booth, which undoubtedly attracted the attention of all visitors.
At the Corendon’s booth, the CTB team showcased a podium decorated with a beach theme at the entrance of the fair. The ambience was set by DJ Brian K, whose roots lie in Curaçao, bringing visitors to the lively beach parties of the island. Throughout the event, the CTB team delivered engaging presentations, inviting the fair visitors to visit Curaçao and experience the unique tourism product that Curaçao offers. Alongside providing valuable information, the Corendon team, in collaboration with CTB, organized raffles including prizes such as a trip for two to Curaçao. Furthermore, the team arranged a children’s area featuring engaging activities such as a coloring contest. Each child who took part in the coloring contest was rewarded with a goody bag. Despite the absence of direct flights from Belgium to Curaçao, the CTB remains active in the Belgian market, promoting convenient connections through the Netherlands to reach Curaçao.
