WILLEMSTAD- February 28, 2024 – Recently, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) together with 9 private sector partners participated in the Duikvaker diving fair. The fair took place at Expo Houten in the Netherlands and featured 168 booths, attracting approximately 9,000 visitors. Notably, there was a surge in the attendance of young visitors compared to previous years. At the fair visitors could gather information or purchase diving and snorkeling equipment. Curaçao’s purpose in participating was to promote Curaçao as the best diving destination and encourage visitors to choose Curaçao for their upcoming vacations. The Curaçao team presented the most popular diving sites on our island, among other things. Anyone who explores the waters of Curaçao is amazed by the beauty and colors of our underwater world.
CTB extends its gratitude to the diving centers and private sector partners who participated in the Curaçao team: Dive Division Curaçao, CURious 2 Dive, Dive Center Pietermaai, Porto Mari Sports, Ocean Encounters, Scubaçao, BlueFinn Charters Curaçao, Bahia Apartments & Diving, Scuba Do Curaçao, and ABC Travel, a travel agency from the Netherlands. Together with the private sector, CTB continues its efforts to promote our island as the best destination for diving.
